Test Access Port Integrity Testing (TAPIT) is a pattern-generation software for pin level TAP testing and it is included with every VICTORY test module. TAPIT is the first VICTORY step in any board-level boundary scan test sequence. It is executed immediately after turning the power on. TAPIT verifies the connections of the four TAP circuit pins (five if TRST is included) to the test controller and every boundary scan device on the chain. If a scan device is equipped with the IDCODE instruction, TAPIT can also verify if the device has been assembled correctly at a given location.
